BREAKING: Sports Star Just Found DEAD With His Wife Under Horrific Circumstances

2018 is shaping up to be a remorseful year in Hollywood.  Celebrities seem to be passing away at a furious pace.  January 31st, 2018 marked a grievous day for one specific celebrity husband and wife duo. In the wee hours of the morning, the two lost their lives instantly.

Former NBA star, Rasual Butler, 38, was drafted by Miami Heat in 2002.  He has also spent time playing for the Bulls, Hornets, Clippers, Pacers, Raptors, Spurs, and Wizards.  He was married to 31 year old R&B singer, Leah LaBelle.  Leah became famous in 2004 after taking 12th place on the 3rd season of American Idol.

Around 2 am in Studio City, CA, Rasual was allegedly driving his Range Rover with Leah alongside him.  He reportedly lost control of the vehicle and ran into a nearby parking meter, crashing into a wall causing the car to flip.  The car landed in a Marshall’s parking lot.  This was a single car crash.  Police have reason to believe the car had been speeding prior to the imminent crash.

The Clippers released the following statement: “The L.A. Clippers are deeply saddened by the loss of Rasual Butler and his wife, Leah LaBelle.  Rasual will long be remembered not only for his accomplishments on the court, but for his vibrant personality, positive outlook and the compassion he had for everyone around him.”

It is too soon to say whether or not drugs or alcohol were involved, however, it has been reported that there was an eyewitness who saw the car traveling at an excessive speed and claimed there were no other cars on the road.  it is no doubt the car must have been speeding just by seeing how mangled it was left.

Rasual leaves behind a daughter, Raven Butler, from a previous relationship.

Our condolences go out to Rasual and Leah’s families.
