BREAKING: TRAGIC News About ‘Fixer Upper’ Stars’ New Baby

Earlier this week we reported that our favorite tv “Fixer Upper” couple Chip and Joanna Gaines, are expecting their 5th child together. The announcement came as an exciting surprise to their fans and followers since earlier in 2017 they announced they were ending their show on HGTV. They posted their exciting announcement on social media along with a video of their ultrasound showing the strong heartbeat.

Since doing so many have come forward expressing their concerns about their unborn baby. Is there something fatal that the ultrasound is showing that the couple and possibly the doctors have missed?

According to TMZ, “Fixer Upper” stars Chip and Joanna Gaines may have reason for concern over their unborn child … and it centers around their ultrasound.
Joanna posted video of the ultrasound Wednesday after the couple announced they’d soon be welcoming their fifth kid. “Fixer Upper” fans speculated something was wrong with the images, because of excess fluid around the fetus.

They’ve been commenting that the condition appears to mimic hydrops fetalis, a sometimes fatal condition.

Radiologist Nicole Saphier — who practices at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center — tells us there does appear to be skin edema (excess fluid in the skin). But Dr. Saphier is quick to add, although the ultrasound gives cause for concern, it’s not conclusive. She says she’d need to see the whole ultrasound to determine if excess fluid is present in additional cavities such as the heart, lungs or abdomen.

We reached out to reps for the couple … so far, no word back.

Hopefully they get the answers that they need from their doctors about their unborn baby before it is too late. This will be the ver family-oriented couple’s fifth child and from what it sounds like, a planned pregnancy. The Gaines have a very public deep-seated beliefe in God who we’re sure they’ll rely on to get them through this stressful time.

Just because it’s not their first child, or even the second one, it doesn’t mean that a pregnancy complicaltion like this is not as stressful if it were. Everyone deserves a healthy child and we hope that all works out well for the couple who are exceptional parents. Here’s more on their original pregnanct annoucement where they shared their joy before this recent heartache:

The ‘Fixer Upper’ couple, Chip and Joanna Gaines, is in their 5th and final season on the show and now it’s clear that the reason they’re cutting their long-running tv career short. There has been a lot of speculation recently that the couple is having marital problems and that is the big reason why they are ending their show. Many have been watching the couple closely to try and get to the bottom of the real reason why they would be ending their hit show.

On Tuesday evening, they finally come forward to let their heartbroken fans know the real reason why they are ending their hit reality show, Fixer Upper and what their next big project will be.

According to E! Online:

It’s going to be an exciting year in the Gaines household!

Fixer Upper stars Chip and Joanna Gaines had some big news to share with their family and friends. As it turns out, they are expecting baby No. 5!

“Gaines party of 7,” he wrote to his Instagram followers. “(If you’re still confused.. WE ARE PREGNANT) @joannagaines.”
In the announcement, Joanna debuted her baby bump in a gray sweatshirt. As for Chip, he had some fun of his own while wearing a matching T-shirt.

The famous duo is already proud parents to two sons and two daughters. But according to a few Twitter hints earlier in the evening, fans were reminded that another baby certainly wouldn’t be a bad thing in this household.

“Everyone tune in now for tonight’s #FixerUpper! We’ve got some BIG news to share.. hint #1,” Chip shared on social media. “Hint #2. Airing as we tweet #fixerUpper.” He added, “Hint #3 You might recall a few months back.. the ever amazing, ever romantic @JOHNNYSWIM was in Waco. And they put on a little too romantic of a concert.. anyways, one thing led to another, & we are officially pregnant. And I could not be more EXCITED! #5 #7ThePerfectNumber.”

The family news comes as the couple prepares to say goodbye to their HGTV show after its fifth season.

“I think for us we felt that season five was just the perfect end to this beautiful chapter, but really the why is time, you know,” Joanna previously shared with E! News. Chip added, “Time with our family is the most important thing to us…We are pretty headstrong and when we feel like it is the right decision for our relationship, for our family, for our business, it would take an act of congress to knock us off that position.”

And while another baby in the house could make things even busier, fans of the couple can still get their fix of the Gaines crew.
Between new cookbooks, a partnership with Target and more projects lined up, these two HGTV stars are giving fans a whole lot to look forward to.

Congratulations to the happy growing family, Baby No. 5 is no joke! If you have ever watched the show or know anything about the Gaines family you know that they’re all about family, so we’re excited for them to have both success and home life – they are living the American dream! They always said that their show, Fixer Upper, brought the happy couple closer together and their marriage was stronger than ever.

With all of the craziness in the world today it is refreshing to see this happy successful couple start the next chapter in their lives. Hopefully, after a little break they will bring back their hit show!
