It’s safe to say there is probably no man that is luckier than OJ Simpson. Time and time again, he commits heinous crimes and not only gets away with it, but is then rewarded! I mean, the guy got away with murder and it only contributed to his popularity making him even more money.

Simpson, “The Juice,” is now 70 years old. Although his stardom began once he became a Running Back for the Buffalo Bills, he is most famously known for the murder of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her boyfriend Ron Goldman. He avoided life in prison, as we all know, because the glove with matching DNA to the victims “didn’t fit.”
Since that painfully long trial, OJ was involved in several more comparatively minor crimes. However, eventually, the straw that broke the camel’s back was in 2007 when he was involved in an armed robbery at a Las Vegas hotel and Casino after stealing sports memorabilia that Simpson claimed had been stolen from him. He ended up being sentenced to prison in Lovelock, Nevada for 33 years with a minimum of 9 years without the possibility of parole.
He spent his 9 years in prison and was released only 4 months ago in October 2017. He told state parole officials his future plans included moving back to Florida. Turns out he feels more at home in Sin City where he is treated more like a celebrity than a criminal! Simpson’s attorney, Malcolm LaVergne said, “He’s very much enjoying his time here in Vegas. It’s January, he gets to play golf every day,” according to TMZ. But wait, there’s more.
Not only is he living the good life, he has already been awarded a small role in a movie. The movie is being created by the comedic actor who played “Borat,” Sacha Baron Cohen. Sacha allegedly paid Simpson $20,000 cash for his appearance. This has rightfully caused outrage, not only with social media but with the families of Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman. This is all we know about the upcoming film as of now.
Total Pro Sports reported, “Once that information was released, collection lawyer David Cook, who represents Ron Goldman’s dad, Fred Goldman, in the civil case against OJ immediately sent out a statement saying they wanted all of that money:” “If money changed hands [between Cohen and Simpson], then all of the money paid should go to Ron’s father, Fred. There is a legal and moral imperative here.” Well said, David Cook!
Do you think Sacha should have included this deviant in his upcoming film?
