RACIST H&M Is DONE After Selling SICK Kids’ Sweatshirt – It’s Going Down Outside Right NOW!

H&M is being boycotted after the atrocious and racist design and marketing mistake they made.  Now, the Swedish clothing manufacturer is dealing with the repercussions that may seriously cost them.  Several celebrities who have  been working with H&M are now taking notice.

The company has been put on blast after coming out with a photo online of an African American little boy wearing a hoodie that said, “Coolest monkey in the jungle.”  The ad was quickly taken down and they apologized for the mistake saying the item will no longer be for sale in the US.  So, it’s okay for a racial slur to be sold outside the US?  Apparently, they received enough backlash for this, that the hoodie is no longer for sale at all.  Thank goodness!  H&M is dealing with more than just the embarrassment of their actions now.

The Weeknd, a Canadian hip-hop artist and celebrity designer has officially pulled the plug on his relationship with the company as stated in a recent tweet, “woke up this morning shocked and embarrassed by this photo. i’m deeply offended and will not be working with @hm anymore…”  Ouch!! It is uncertain when The Weeknd’s items will be removed from the store.  Unfortunately for H&M, he’s not the only one discontinuing their relationship.

American rapper and record producer G-Eazy, has also broken up with the company over twitter by writing, “Over the past months I was genuinely excited about launching my upcoming line and collaboration with @HM… Unfortunately, after seeing the disturbing image yesterday, my excitement over our global campaign quickly evaporated, and I’ve decided at this time our partnership needs to end”  He may as well have written, “Sorry H&M, its not me, it’s you.”  USA Today reported, “By 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, it had been retweeted close to 103,000 times and “liked” almost 230,000 times.”

Both Lebron James and P. Diddy created their own rendition of the young boy’s photograph in recent tweets with their own thoughts.  “King James”, Lebron, tweeted @hm, “u got us all wrong! And we ain’t going for it! Straight up! Enough about y’all and more of what I see when I look at this photo. I see a Young King!! The ruler of the world, an untouchable Force that can never be denied! We as African Americans will always have to break barriers, prove people wrong and work even harder to prove we belong but guess what, that’s what we love because the benefits at the end of the road are so beautiful!!”  P. Diddy also chimed in saying, “Put some respect on it!! When you look at us make sure you see royalty and super natural God sent glory!! Anything else is disrespectful.”

It’s safe to say that H&M is probably regretting their lack of quality control and somebody will most likely need to start looking for a new job!
