There’s absolutely nothing that’s off limits when it comes to liberals attacking the president and vice president. Personal life events are no exception and are in fact their favorite targets to tear either of these men and their families down. They see no shame in the game of getting ahead by making other people look and feel bad and this sudden death is their latest ploy.
The Pence family tries to maintain their personal privacy as much as they can for a couple in their very public position. You can’t blame them either since even the most honorable details of their relationship become a big point of criticism and used against them.
The Pences have three children, one boy, and two girls. Their second daughter, Charlotte Pence, is an author and she recently used her talents to write a children’s book. Unfortunately, her book led to her and her family being the center of attack by a comedian. It is unfortunate that people think it is ok to attack the Vice President and his family just to promote themselves and get their name out there.
While out promoting her new children’s book rather than the focus being on her book it all turned back to the comedian and what he did.
According to Daily Wire, On Monday, a charming children’s book written by Vice President Mike Pence’s daughter, Charlotte Pence, and illustrated by Pence’s wife, Karen Pence, launched at Amazon.com. The book is a perfectly lovely tour of the White House and Vice Presidential living quarters narrated by the family bunny, Marlon Bundo. It’s titled Marlon Bundo’s Day In The Life of the Vice President. My four-year-old daughter loves it.
So, naturally, the Left targeted the book.
First, HBO comedian John Oliver released a book called A Day in the Life of Marlon Bundo, supposedly written by Marlon Bundo with Jill Twiss, and illustrated by EG Keller. That was designed as a slight against Pence; he launched into a rant about how Pence supposedly hates gay people, then said he would be releasing the competing book. This book is about homosexual rabbits: Marlon is gay and falls in love with Wesley while living at the Naval Observatory. The bad guy: Stink Bug, who looks like Mike Pence.
But it wasn’t sufficient to launch a book specifically designed to target an innocent children’s book with propaganda about how Republicans hate gay people/rabbits. Oliver’s followers then went to the Amazon page for Charlotte Pence’s book and spammed it with one-star reviews.
This is the nature of the hard-Left: they hate conservatives so much that they’re willing to smear completely apolitical children’s literature in order to target those conservatives. Charlotte is a delightful young woman with no discernable political background other than her association with her dad; the book is utterly apolitical. So naturally, it must be made a target of LGBT mockery. You know, to save the country from Trump.
As of this writing, Amazon appears to have limited reviews of Charlotte’s book to verified purchasers. That should be their standard from now on. This sort of nonsense is perfectly toxic.
Charlotte Pence proved to be the bigger person by not bashing John Oliver’s book that he wrote, instead, she purchased a copy of the book to help support the charity that the proceeds of the book go to. She could have bashed his book and has false reviews written but she handled the whole situation with class.
