TV Star Arrested On Felony Charge After Bizarre Incident – Nobody Is Above The Law!

The Teen Choice Awards were held on Sunday night and many couldn’t help but notice that one of their favorite actresses was missing in action, even though she had been nominated for an award.

Unlike those who couldn’t make it to the awards show due to prior obligations or they happened to be filming somewhere else, it appears that she chose not to attend the big event and her fans are shocked to find out why and where she was.

Why did it take almost 10 days for news to break on what happened back on August 5th and why is her rep not commented on the situation?

According to Faith Family America, On Tuesday, August 14th, news broke that television star Marie Avgeropoulos, 32, was arrested on a felony charge. Avgeropoulos is best-known for her starring role as Octavia Blake on the popular CW series “The 100.”

The television drama was recently nominated in three categories for the 2018 Teen Choice Awards: Choice Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Show, Choice Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Actor (Bob Morley), and Choice Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Actress (Eliza Taylor). Avgeropoulos and the rest of her castmates, unfortunately, did not receive any of the winning titles.

“The 100” actress was arrested in Los Angeles, California on August 5th, but news about her arrest was not released to the public until nearly 10 days later. Avgeropoulos was taken into custody for felony domestic violence.

According to TMZ, a man called local police on August 5th claiming his girlfriend hit him during a verbal argument. The boyfriend allegedly had visible marks on his body.

However, the circumstances surrounding her arrest were somewhat bizarre.

Avgeropoulos reportedly mixed new medication with alcohol that evening. Her longtime boyfriend phoned the cops believing authorities would “diffuse the situation” instead of taking her to jail.

The couple is from Canada and was allegedly unaware of the consequences Avgeropoulos would face for becoming violent. Following her arrest, the television star was bailed out by her boyfriend and she was released on a $50,000 bond. He will not press any charges, confirmed TMZ.

Do you think that the police should have arrested Marie due to the altercation that happened that night? What are your thoughts on the actress being arrested that night?
